Amarceuticals are medical devices which are presented in a pharmaceutical form such as an injection, gel, or even as a tablet. As in all other medical devices, amarceuticals do not cause any pharmacological or biochemical effect but act primarily in a physical way. They are used for medical purposes on human patients and in the clinical environment, for example in diagnosis, therapy or surgery.
We prefer not to use the word Mediceuticals as this implies that they could contain a medicine or drug.
